Microsoft may cancel the surface phone

Microsoft has been among some of the biggest names when it comes to the world of technology. The company has been coming out with a large number of updates and upgrades, and has been a name which has always managed to be on top of their game. The company has been coming out with many successful OS and Software updates, and has now been doing well in the hardware markets too. The latest that the markets were abuzz about regarding Microsoft was the fact that the company is now likely to be working on a Surface Phone device.

It was anticipate that the Surface Phone would be a mobile phone device so powerful that it would be able to give the computers a run for their money. It has been anticipated that the phone has been codenamed ‘Juggernaut Alpha’ by the company during the developmental phase. However, in a shocking update, it is now being speculated that the company might cancel this project altogether.

In the past, it had been noted, that Microsoft’s Surface Phone has been modeled on the Surface Mini, which was expected to be released earlier, but got cancelled. However, the company had high hopes with the Surface Phone.

With time, it was expected that the Microsoft Mobiles devices will be able to get some returns and will increase their market share. However as of now there seems to be nothing such as that happening even in the long run.

The company might move ahead and take the drastic step forward, as the Surface Phone might even get cancelled. As of now what we know is that the company is not going to release it this year. Microsoft had earlier commented stating that they do have plans for their mobile phone division but as of this year it is not their priority – which is a possible hint that we might have to wait a little longer for the Surface Phone, if at all it releases.
