Niger Delta Avengers blow up 5 oil facilities in a row




The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) have launched fresh attacks on major oil and gas installations in Delta region. Chevron, NPDC and NNPC facilities were reportedly blown up by one strike team.

The attacks took place on Friday, Saturday night and early Sunday morning in Delta state, leaving at least five facilities incapacitated, according to the militants.

The NDA as usual reported about their new attacks on the oil and gas producing facilities belonging to Chevron, the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on twitter.

At 1:15am on Sunday @NDAvengers blow up two major Chevron Oil Wells. WELL 7 and WELL 8 close to Abiteye flow station in Delta state.

The NNPC, which owns the NPDC, as well as Chevron Nigeria Limited is not aware of the attacks and cannot officially confirm the strikes.
