10 bad habits that could destroy your relationship

 There are some habits that are really bad for your relationship and may cause your partner to leave you if you don’t stop them. Here are 10 of such habits;

1. Keeping score of wrongs / holding grudges:

It is normal for people to make mistakes and your partner is not an exception. Nobody wants to be in a relationship with someone who finds it hard to forgive.

2. Trying to change your partner:

You are not the Holy Spirit, so stop trying to mold your partner into what you want them to be. Think about how you feel when someone tries to do the same thing to you.

3. Comparing your partner to your ex:

Nobody likes being compared. If your ex was that perfect you would still be with him. Stop the comparison else your partner may be forced to end the relationship.

4. Not giving them breathing space:

It’s nice to want to spend time with your partner and know what’s going on their lives but when it becomes suffocating it’s a problem.

5. Pretense:

Stop the pretense because sooner or later the real you will be revealed. Stop acting like everything is alright all the time when they are not. Be open with your partner. Who wants a pretender for a partner?

6. Always criticizing family and close friends:

These people were in their lives way before you came along. If you keep criticizing the people close to them, he or she will feel you are trying to isolate them and may eventually end the relationship.

7. Not arguing at all:

Siblings argue, best friends argue, so why should your relationship be different? There’s no way you will agree on everything all the time. If you never have arguments and agree on everything, then there’s a problem. It’s good to argue once in a while so you can iron out your differences.

8. Taking your partner for granted:

If you don’t love being taken for granted, you shouldn’t do same to your partner. No one wants to feel taken for granted, and if you never show your partner your appreciation, they may just stop bothering to try to please you. When you keep taking your partner for granted, he or she will soon get fed up and walk away.

9. Never accepting blame:

Some people don’t ever take responsibility for anything, they just keep passing the blame, even though they are at fault. You can’t keep putting all the blame on your partner, learn to accept blame even if it’s a little.

10. Invading their privacy:

Everyone has the right to privacy. Sure, you wouldn’t want your partner snooping around your business, so you shouldn’t do same. Everyone’s privacy should be respected.
