FRESH ATTACK: NIGER DELTA AVENGERS BLOW UP NNPC PIPELINE

Just after a long silence from them, the Niger Delta Avengers, having denied any talks about negotiations with the federal government have blown up an NNPC pipeline in Oruk Anam local government in Akwa ibom.

The attack was carried out at 4:00a.m this morning and posted a few minutes ago on their TWITTER PAGE. See screenshot below:


The Niger Delta Avengers have vowed to bring Nigeria's oil production to zero and have worked towards it via incessant bombing of oil installations all over the Niger Delta. 

Amidst a nationwide fuel scarcity, it is uncertain what direction Nigeria is headed as she struggles to meet her local fuel demands let alone, international. 


THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT THE KIND OF CHANGE WE BARGAINED FOR IN NIGERIA!!!

PRISON BREAK: 15 inmates escape from Nsukka prison

No fewer than 15 inmates were believed to have escaped from Nsukka Prison in Enugu state in a jail-break that occurred on Tuesday night. A reliable source at the prison who pleaded anonymity said on Wednesday that the inmates broke their cells and scaled over the perimeter fence. “The inmates carefully opened their cells and scaled the perimeter fence of the prisons. “Before prison officials on night duty knew what was happening, about 15 inmates had escaped,” the source said. 3 persons confirmed dead in Akokwa Imo State

DSP Andrew Enwerem, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) who confirmed the incident in a chat with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Owerri, said some others sustained injuries. He explained that an unidentified man, said to be from the northern part of Nigeria, had run amok and killed a girl and a woman and thereafter killed himself. He said some aggrieved youths immediately went for reprisal attacks. This he said led to some other persons sustaining various degrees of injuries.
