Video footage of mother and children being saved from a burning building

A South Korean woman bravely overcame the jaws of death when her building caught fire, forcing her to throw her children out of a fourth-floor window and then jump out herself.

Footage from the scene, in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, shows the terrified mother being urged by locals to throw down her children before the fire got worse. Servicemen and women from a nearby US airbase helped hold up blankets for a safe landing.

A video posted by civil engineer Bill Frost on Facebook on April 30 captures the frightening incident. It shows the mother throwing down her three children off the building before jumping out herself.
Thankfully, neither the children nor their mother got hurt. See footage below:

PRISON BREAK: 15 inmates escape from Nsukka prison

No fewer than 15 inmates were believed to have escaped from Nsukka Prison in Enugu state in a jail-break that occurred on Tuesday night. A reliable source at the prison who pleaded anonymity said on Wednesday that the inmates broke their cells and scaled over the perimeter fence. “The inmates carefully opened their cells and scaled the perimeter fence of the prisons. “Before prison officials on night duty knew what was happening, about 15 inmates had escaped,” the source said. DSP Andrew Enwerem, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) who confirmed the incident in a chat with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Owerri, said some others sustained injuries. He explained that an unidentified man, said to be from the northern part of Nigeria, had run amok and killed a girl and a woman and thereafter killed himself.
